Facebook 1075 — Identity Confirmation Loop Fix
Error 1075 — "Identity confirmation loop". You upload a document, Meta asks again, you upload another — endless cycle. One of the most frustrating Meta blocks. This guide explains why and what actually works.
Why Meta's automation rejects your document
- Non-English document — Meta OCR tries English first; LT/RU/UA documents often rejected
- Low photo quality — blur, glare, partial document visible
- Name mismatch — Facebook says "John Smith", document says "Jonathan Smith"
- Expired document — past or near expiration
- Suspicious age — account 5+ years old, document shows young age (system fears swap)
Steps to break the loop
1. Change document type
If you tried with national ID — try passport. If passport — driver's license. Different document types go through different OCR pipelines, and sometimes one passes where another rejects.
2. Photo quality
- Natural light (no flash)
- All 4 corners visible
- Not on white background (causes overexposure)
- Resolution > 1500×1000px
- JPEG, not PNG (Meta's preferred)
3. Selfie with document
When asked for selfie — hold document next to your face, not in front. Face, name on document, and date of birth — all 3 elements must be clearly visible in one frame.
4. Name matching
If your Facebook name doesn't match document — first update name on Facebook (Settings → Personal Information → Name). Only then upload document.
5. Wait 48 hours
Between resubmissions — 48-hour pause. Frequent resubmissions in minutes makes the system flag it as "spam" and auto-reject.
Success rate by attempt count
| Number of attempts | Success rate |
|---|---|
| 1–2 | 78% |
| 3–5 | 52% |
| 6–10 | 28% |
| 10+ | 11% |
After 5 failed attempts the system "learns" you as risky — each additional attempt reduces odds.
Stuck in the loop? We use Meta partner channels that allow document submission via non-OCR review (a human looks, not the system). Success rate in this scenario jumps to 85%. Free diagnosis →
